Arguably the standout stars of the 2012 Olympics, the United States Women's Gymnastics Team stopped by the adidas Lounge in London yesterday to celebrate their gold medal win. Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney spoke to members of the media about their London experience and future plans.
At the lounge, the girls were clad in custom USA leotards designed by Lou Lewer. The uniforms feature Swarovski crystals and draw inspiration from New York City’s most notable art deco-inspired buildings, the Empire State and the Chrysler.
The footwear selection of the day was the adidas adiZero Primeknit, the brand's first one-piece upper performance running shoe featuring a new seamless engineering technology. A limited run of 2,012 pairs dropped in London last month, with a wide release in new colorways set for this fall.
