Tony Wroten & Charlie Villanueva Wear "Orlando" Nike Air Penny V

As the NBA preseason gets underway this week, we're already seeing quite a few players breaking out more than just team bank colorways of the newest Hyperfuse and Hyperdunk.

While technically a lifestyle shoe out of the Nike Sportswear category, Penny Hardaway's revived signature series is already getting some love on court thanks to Grizzlies rookie Tony Wroten and Pistons vet Charlie Villanueva. 

Both were spotted in the "Orlando" themed version this week, with Wroten notably a perfect match to rep Hardaway's newest sneaker. A tall point guard himself, Wroten is rocking #1 proudly during his rookie campaign for Penny's hometown team.

We'll keep you posted as more Air Penny sightings pop up during the year, and if perhaps there were such a thing as Team Penny, who would you like to see from around the league repping the 1 Cent logo?
