Not exactly the debut we expected, but the adidas Rose 3 finally hit the NBA hardwood last night. A wearer of the original adizero Rose since 2011, Memphis Grizzlies defensive specialist made the switch to the 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers last night, lacing up a custom colorway made using miadidas.
Allen's Rose 3 sports an all-over blue look with contrasting white hits on the padded collar and 3-Stripes running down the heel.
The term "closer" is usually reserved for shooters in the NBA, but Tony gets the job with defense. With two steals in the final minutes, Allen helped Memphis shut down the Cavs and erase a 7-point fourth quarter deficit to preserve a Grizzlies win. Memphis is now 10-2 on the season.
