It's time for another edition of This Week on eBay, where we hunt down a few rare sneakers each week from the eBay bidding floors. Up for your bidding pleasure is an OG pair of Air Jordan IX's, an obscure pair of adidas basketball kicks and more. As usual, we also have the Fakes of the Week for some comic relief. Let's get started!
Top Pick
Up for grabs is a beautiful original pair of the 'Powder Blue' Air Jordan IX. They've only been worn once according to the owner, and appear to be in perfect condition. At a very reasonable $400, they shouldn't last long!
Vintage Deadstock of the Week
Here we have an obscure adidas basketball shoe that, honestly, I've never even seen before. The unique design of the Tre Mid features a velcro strap connecting the tongue to the heel for lockdown ankle support. Quite an interesting shoe! adidas fans can pick up this rare pair in deadstock condition for only $140.
One To Watch
Who knows if and when the classic Air Mowabb will make another return, so anytime a pair shows up on eBay at a nice price, you should try to pick them up. Here's a size 8.5 of the Mowabb's last retro at only $80 with zero bids and one day left. Add them to your watch list if you can fit into them!
Poster of the Week
Deion Sanders "Bird of Prey" Nike Poster
How dope is this? An essential for any Neon Deion fan.
Fakes of the Week
I'm not exactly sure what's going on with these, but you gotta give the bootlegger who designed them some credit for coming up with something about just as good (or bad, depending on how you look at it) as most of the real Jordan hybrids.
