This Week on eBay // April 14-20
words // Zack Schlemmer
It's time once again for another edition of This Week on eBay, where we searched through the endless supply of sneaker auctions on eBay and highlight a few of the gems. This week we start by honoring the (second) retirement of Rasheed Wallace with a pair of his classic Air Force 1's. You'll also see great stuff from Reebok and, of course, the Fakes of the Week.
Today the basketball world received the bad news that Rasheed Wallace will go back into retirement after a stint this season with the New York Knicks. To honor one of Sole Collector's favorite players, I wanted to make sure this week's eBay finds included a Sheed Air Force One. So, here it is!
One to Watch
Here we have Kevin Garnett's first Nike signature shoe, that is likely to never return, in lightly used condition for only $10.50 at the time of this posting. If you're a size 11.5, you might want to watch these.
Steal of the Week
Deadstock OG Kamikaze II's in the 1996 All Star colorway. If I didn't just get the retro version, I would have already scooped these up since they are my size. I'm still pretty tempted to. Act fast if you're a size 11!
Poster of the Week
For the second week in a row we happened to find an awesome vintage poster related to an upcoming sneaker re-release. Last week we had Scottie Pippen in the Nike Air Way Up, and this week it's Shaquille O'Neal in a promo poster for the Reebok Shaq Attaq, set to re-release for the first ever this Friday.
Fakes of the Week
An ultra-premium Air Jordan 7 bootleg with metallic gold detail AND clear panels!
