This Is What's Replacing the 6 on New LeBron 12s

A NIKEiD pair reveals changes made to the LeBron 12 outsole.

by Brendan Dunne

It appears that LeBron 12s going forward will get rid of the 6 detailing on the outsole.

The appearance of that number was originally speculated as the reason for the delay of the LeBron 12, and it only made sense that Nike would eventually remove it on versions of the shoe produced after LeBron James' number change. Instead of the 6 you can see "Ohio" spelled out between the left and the right shoe on this NIKEiD pair - and if early images of the Christmas LeBron 12 are any indication, this Ohio lettering will be the default going forward. Get another glimpse of this NIKEiD LeBron 12 below and let us know if you've created your own pair yet.
