for past The Rotation posts, check here

As you may know, I spend the bulk of my time down in Key Largo, Florida, where I can luckily wear pretty much whatever I want as it's still pretty damn sunny down here.

Check out my recent January rotation ahead, including the kicks that I've been wearing around town and what I wore on a trip to NYC.

All Star LeBron IV: This always brings back memories of the Sole Collector Road Trip with Nick and Zac years ago. I had a pair of Jordan XX3s to wear but it pinched the hell out of my little toe on my right foot. So I ended up wearing these for the rest of the trip. I even wore them to a wedding in which I wore a "dumb and dumber" setup… and these rounded out my amazingly great outfit.

Oregon III: Our current issue has an in-depth interview with Tinker and Kenny Farr (equipment manager for the Ducks Football team) and it is a truly inspiring story. In fact, the Tinker story is one I have given to many of my friends who aren't in the sneaker world to read as it paints a great picture of what we are all about. It isn't just a bunch of rubber and leather - there are some great stories behind these shoes.

SC Rookies: These are our first iPad shoe, and it was such a great process to go through in creating these shoes as well as such a smooth and successful launch. All shoes sold out in 20 seconds with no server breakdowns.

SC Penny 1: These were released at one of the best events we've ever held (I would say second behind the Sole Collector Vegas Finals). This event had everything - great shoes - Penny Hardaway - great venue - first time a 5 pack of shoes was sold for $1k at retail and it was in Vegas. What else would you want, other than a mean scuff on the wing?

WTT LeBron 9: This is just a dirty pleasure. These shoes showed up at my doorstep out of the blue and I've worn the hell out of them. They are a conversation starter for sure.

Galaxy Foams: One of my favorite Foams and they're also way comfortable. Great travel kicks.
