Before settling on the cleaner white-based Air Jordan 7 Retro for the 60+ Defining Moments Pack, Jordan explored the idea of going with this more literal salute to the Orlando Magic.
This look-see sample still featured white leather, but the pinstripe overlays were probably deemed a bit too much for the brand to send it all the way through. Royal accents on the pull-tab, midsole and outsole brought more Magic flavor to the design.
Collectors had a crack at this size 9 on eBay recently, but the seller quickly pulled the auction.
