Better late than never, the 'Gumbo League' Nike Lil' Penny Posite will officially be released.

Originally set to drop in February, this was the first colorway set to drop. They were a part of the Nike Sportswear 'Gumbo League' All-Star New Orleans Collection and just as soon as the release date popped up, it disappeared. No information as to why the shoe was pushed back, but we all thought it was scrapped for good. It wasn't until May that the Lil' Penny Posite would make its debut, packed alongside a Foamposite One in the 'Shooting Stars' Pack. A month later, the first three general release colorways dropped.

Fast foward a few months and the elusive 'Gumbo League' edition is now set to release. This Nike Lil' Penny Posite Premium QS comes in a black and atomic red colorway. Featuring a black-based upper with 3M reflective accents and a unique printed design throughout. Atomic red accents the branding throughout as well as the sockliner and outsole. A limited release, look out for them at select Nike Sportswear retailers overseas such as END on Friday, August 15. At this time a stateside release has yet to be announced, but stick with us here at Sole Collector as we will keep you updated if information becomes available.
