Nike has unveiled the new Nike+ Running experience, including a redesigned app for the iPhone and Android, enhanced social capabilities, new features on nikeplus.com and integration into the larger Nike+ Ecosystem.
The redesigned Nike+ Running app (formerly the Nike+ GPS app) has expanded to include functionality on Android devices. “The expansion of NIKE+ onto multiple mobile platforms will allow us to serve more runners than ever before. This opportunity will give even more athletes the chance to experience NIKE+, which makes this an incredibly exciting time for the Running community,” said Stefan Olander, Vice President, Digital Sport. Additionally, social sharing has been enhanced through better integration with Facebook.
As seen with the launch of the Nike+ FuelBand, nikeplus.com has also been revamped, including new features and improved performance. The new nikeplus.com helps athletes train inside of the new Nike+ Ecosystem, which includes Nike+ Running, Nike+ Basketball, Nike+ Training and Nike+ Kinect Training. Now users can track data from all new Nike+ devices at one single destination.
