These days, sneaker brands seem to be less into dropping brand new models that may or may not win over ‘heads and are instead sifting their focus on digging into the vault and re-releasing tried and tested classics reimagined with modern tech. The Nike Air Force 1, of course, falls into that latter category.
Historically, the Air Force 1 needs no introduction. But in 2016, the legendary shoe will get a significant makeover, primarily in the form of Flyknit. Just a few weeks into the new year and already we’ve seen a bevy of different knitted Air Force 1 silos set to hit retailers, with many more expected to drop as we get deeper into the seasons. This might be good news to lovers of all-things knitwear, but not everyone will likely cozy up to the unique take on a timeless shoe.
