Fast Company provides us with an exclusive look at the first-ever Fuelband prototype presented to Nike CEO Mark Parker back in 2010.

Developed by a secret team of 13 back in 2010, the first Nike Fuelband prototype takes inspiration from a traditional tennis sweatband and features E-Ink technology in "performance color." Parker immediately saw it as a "Smart" version of the iconic Livestrong band with its sleek and simple design, and quickly approved the product into development and production.

Enjoy an exclusive look below and learn more about the first Fuelband prototype Mark Parker saw from Fast Company.

I dig Nike and their innovation on sneakers and clothing but I think the Fuel Band is marginal at best. Great concept but isn't a true measure of your daily output.
Looking for:

DS BRed 11 sz 11
DS Obsidian XII sz 10.5/11

In Canada...
