The town is home to both brands, which were founded by feuding brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler. There a geographical rift in Herzogenaurach that reflects dedication to the two companies, with adidas supporters living on the south side of the river and Puma supporters living on the north. Investigating the rift is The Wall Street Journal, who found the two factions are starting to look past their differences and to some extent, are "more together against Nike now."
