Next month, leading All-Star vote getter Stephen Curry will take the court in New York City in the ‘Dark Matter’ Under Armour Curry One. The colorway signifies the internal belief that continues to charge Curry’s journey, as well as the energy and explosiveness that fuel his game.
Believed to make up roughly 80% of the universe, dark matter is comprised of materials that scientists cannot directly see or observe. UA makes the comparison to the elements of life that motivate Curry to perform at a high level, but aren’t seen by the naked eye.
Curry’s All-Star shoe blends the deceptive nature of his game in purple rain camo with explosive X-Ray accents throughout. A custom atom-inspired woven label on the tongue bonds the responsive energy found within the shoe and the energy surrounding Dark Matter within the universe.
