After getting an 'OG' style makeover in 2013, the Air Jordan I will be getting another new look for 2015.
The 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan kicks off with Jordan Brand's all-new 'Remastered' line of Air Jordan Retros. We have seen the Air Jordan 4, 7 and 10 and know that the 5 and 11 are also set to return. Along with confirming pricing, we also announced release dates for some upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retros, both high and low. When it was confirmed that the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG was releasing, rumors quickly spread as to whether or not they would be true to form or a modified version of what we currently see.
Today we can confirm that the Air Jordan 1 Retro will also be remastered in 2015. Both the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG and Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG will feature updated looks, more to their original 1985-'86 predecessors. For the highs, they will feature a modified look along with a padded collar for more comfort. The lows will feature the same silhouette as the originals, and will mark the first retro release of this style. No images, except a few catalog shots floating around, are available, so we will just have to wait a little longer to see the finished design.
The 'Remastered' Air Jordan 1 Retro debuts in February at nike.com as well as select Jordan Brand retailers with various colorways set to release throughout 2015.
