An Air Jordan grail could be seeing a release in 2016.
According to new release dates freshly added to the J23 app, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Banned" appears amongst several notable Retro releases. The reported release date is September 3, 2016 with retail slated at $160. In posting the information, J23 notes, ""Banned" is a nickname, that is all of the information I have." This latest development supports the Air Jordan 1 "Bred" story that we reported on earlier this month so it appears that they will indeed be dropping next year. Whether or not its the coveted "Banned" model, we'll have to wait and see.
As a follow-up to this story, Sole Collector has confirmed with retailers that the Sept. 3 release date for the "Banned" Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is set, along with other notable Air Jordan Retro releases for 2016 found below.
