Continuing to show why he's the frontrunner for the MVP Award, Stephen Curry put together one of his finest performances of the season against the Portland Trail Blazers last night.
Outrageously efficient, Curry knocked down 17 of his 23 shots, including 8-of-13 from three-point range, en route to a 45-point performance. In fact, after dialing up from the top of the key late in the 2nd quarter, Curry broke his own record for most three-pointers in a single season (273).
The night was also big for Under Armour, who saw its star take another step toward MVP honors in his Curry One signature shoe. Curry wore the Warriors-inspired ‘Home’ PE colorway, which hasn’t been released to the public yet. Perhaps performances like last night will encourage the brand to make it happen.
