Is there a happier hoops fan on the planet right now than Spike Lee? The longtime Knicks supporter took his usual courtside seat at Madison Square Garden tonight for New York's anticipated match-up with the Los Angeles Lakers. Behind 30 points in 23 minutes from Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks cruised past the reeling Lakers 116-107 with the rematch set for Christmas Day at Staples Center.

For tonight's game, the Jordan Brand hooked Spike up with a custom pair of mismatched Knicks-themed Air Jordan XX8s, which we gave you a closer look at earlier tonight. Below are more candid shots of Spike wearing his new Jordans. Should a limited run be released in the future?

2 bad things in these pictures: 1) He is wearing knicks shoes!! (Go Heat) 2) jordan, i think the shoes would be way more awesomer than they are at the moment if they didnt have a zipper over the laces (no hard feelings tho)
