Sole Watch // NBA Players Wear Green For St. Patrick's Day

Able to break free from their team uniform colors for yet another night, players around the league wore green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

words // Nick DePaula

Long ago, NBA players had to wear shoes that were 51% white in base color. That was long ago.

Nowadays, not only can players wear any matching base color of the liking, but the league also allows them to ditch their team colors for theme colors on more than ten occasions throughout the 82-game regular season.

One of the most obvious exceptions would be St. Patrick's Day, and we saw green spotted on players all throughout the league last night. Whether it was Paul George in one of the greatest green shoes of all time, or the custom colorways created by adidas, Jordan, AND1 and Under Armour for their players, check out all of the action below and let us know who stood out most.
