Following Friday's small group, the NBA's remaining teams got back in uniform for their respective Media Day sessions yesterday.
With Cleveland's Media Day already a wrap, much of Monday's talk was centered on the new-look Chicago Bulls. Not only is the team bringing back a healthy (and gold medal winning) Derrick Rose, but they're introducing Pau Gasol into the equation. With the addition of the future Hall of Fame Spaniard, the Bulls will be a formidable contender in the East.
Later in the day, attention turned toward Los Angeles, where all eyes are still on Kobe Bryant. It doesn't seem that he has the help necessary to dethrone a team like the San Antonio Spurs, but you know he's going to give it his all, and break a couple records in the process.
Not many surprises on the sneaker front, but there were a few sightings worth noting.
-New Nugget Gary Harris paid tribute to Carmelo Anthony with one his older Jordan sigs.
-With the model rumored for a retro next year, Jordan Brand athlete Jabari Parker laced up the Air Jordan XX.
-Nerlens Noel may already be done with Reebok, as he brought back an old Nike PE from his days at Kentucky.
-Rajon Rondo debuted a new ANTA shoe.
-Now a Washington Wizard, Paul Pierce broke out his Air Legacy 3 in a red and navy PE colorway. John Wall wore his new adidas signature shoe.
-Fresh off signing a new deal with Nike, Kevin Durant went with a new colorway of the KD 7.
-Paul George probably won't be playing this season, but he showed up in his Nike HyperRev 2015 PE.
-Kobe wore an unreleased Kobe 9 Elite 'Inline' PE.
