Sneaker Watch: New York Giants at Super Bowl Media Day

words // Brandon Richard

With Super Bowl XLVI kickoff now just days away, the New York Giants and New England Patriots took the field at Lucas Oil Stadium yesterday for the always popular Media Day. Reporters from outlets of all kinds swarmed the big game's participants, helping them enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience even more.

With Media Day being more of a casual affair, players typically switch out their cleats for the more relaxed feel of sneakers. Read on for a look at what the New York Football Giants had on their feet yesterday.

Anytime people are lining more to buy your retro instead of your latest means you've lost a step. I hope the Jordan Brand people realize this. Tinker should continue designing the Air Jordans. Other Jordan Brand shoes can go to your second-tier designers. As much as the Air Jordan is about Michael Jordan, it is also about the genius of Tinker Hatfield. In my more than 2 decades of owning Nike shoes, the only designers that really stood out were Tinker Hatfield, Aaron Cooper, and Eric Avar. That said, Leo Chang is also showing promise.
