It's one thing to be constantly amazed by someone's skill level ever since he was a teenager and already playing on a global stage, but seeing LeBron James attack the game of basketball up close and in person is an even more impressive experience.
He's constantly talking on defense, constantly talking trash to his own defenders and just full of energy and enthusiasm now a decade into the every-damn-day practice and workout grind that he's enthusiastically endured. This is technically the offseason too.
As part of "Hoops For Troops," James led the White squad of starters against the 2nd team earlier this afternoon during a scrimmage that Team USA put on in front of more than 3,000 men and women of the United States Military.
Once again, LeBron was wearing a custom version of the Lunar Hyperdunk+ that include his very own 'LJ' crown logo along the tongue. "They're great," James said after. "I love them."
