If you've been keeping an eye on the court for the past week, you may have noticed adidas Basketball athletes rocking new shoes in fresh colorways across the league.
Most notably, Josh Smith, Jeff Teague, Devin Harris and DeShawn Stevenson of the Atlanta Hawks laced up the "South Beach" or "Lab Pink" colorway of the Top Ten 2000 when they visited the Miami Heat on Monday. The Hawks dropped the closely contested game before rebounding against the Orlando Magic last night.
The Top Ten 2000 was also spotted in Philadelphia and Chicago, where Jrue Holiday and Taj Gibson broke out pairs from the vibrant "Bright Lights, Big City" Pack. Jrue also wore the pack's "Chicago" adizero Crazy Light 2 in yesterday's meeting between the two teams.
We now have two NBA wearers of the Rose 3 in Tony Allen and new adidas Basketball athlete Jeff Teague of the Atlanta Hawks. No word if Teague is on Derrick's "approved" list like Tony, but it's great to see the "Brenda" colorway on the court.
