Louisiana's own Sneaker Politics had a banner year for collaborations, logging plenty of firsts in 2015. Its "Case 999" New Balance, for example, was the first time the brand linked up with NB for a collaborative shoe.
As is often the case with these sort of projects, the shoes went through a couple of transformations in the design process. Shown here are early samples featuring varying degrees of pinstripes. The shop eventually decided to relegate the pinstripes to the insoles, as the red stripes didn't quite match the reds elsewhere on the shoes.
