'Shooting Stars' Nike Air Foamposite One Releasing?

For the past two years, we've heard several rumors about a possible drop, but it looks like 'Shooting Stars' are the verge of finally becoming a reality.

In 2012, Penny Hardaway returned to Orlando when the city hosted NBA All-Star Weekend. As part of the festivities, Penny played in the Celebrity Game, laced up in a special 1-of-1 colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite One. The shoes instantly generated buzz on Sole Collector and social media, with many hoping we'd eventually see them release. For the past two years, we've heard several rumors about a possible drop, but it looks like 'Shooting Stars' are the verge of finally becoming a reality.

Based on Penny's 1997 PE, the shoe features a white Foamposite upper, Magic-inspired star detailing along the eyestay and royal blue hits on the tongue, laces, inner lining and pull-tab. Custom insoles line the interior and a translucent outsole wraps up the look below.

No official word on a release date at the moment, but as you can see in the photos, this pair has retail tagging. Are 'Shooting Stars' about to hit shelves? Let us know if you'd pick up a pair and stick with us for more information as it becomes available.
