After spending the last two seasons turning away the PE sneakers Nike Basketball presented him with, it appears that New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire is finally happy with his kicks. Tabbed as the face of the new Nike Air Max Sweep Thru, STAT has been spotted everywhere in his new shoes, including the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards and the South Florida All-Star Classic. Continuing to promote his new business ventures, including the launch of the Sweep Thru, Amar'e stopped by Fox & Friends in New York City earlier today.
While Stoudemire showed off a couple colorways of the Sweep Thru ("Cool Grey" on his feet), cooking show host and author Paula Deen joined in the fun by trying on a pair of Amar'e's size 16s.
