New Balance has been plenty brash lately with its prices on retro pairs between the Horween editions and that whiteout New Balance 1400.
Topping both of those in terms of price is the latest custom sneaker capsule from SBTG, which was created in conjunction with Born & Raised. The group references the mandatory military service of their native Singapore, and features camouflage colorways to make the connection. The white pair, the “Bravo Romeo Section,” is limited to 15 pieces and will sell for $399 SGD, approximately $299 USD. Only five pairs of the greener “Bravo Romeo Specialist” will be produced, and the shoe will sell for $699 SGD, approximately $525 USD.
The catch here is that neither pair is going to be easy to acquire. Both are available exclusively at the Born & Raised pop-up at Tangs Orchard in Singapore.
