For sneaker collectors who had plans of trying their luck at acquiring the "Galaxy" Nike Air Foamposite One online, a significant blow has been dealt to your chances. Earlier tonight, the NikeStore Twitter account announced that they will NOT be carrying the much-anticipated release, citing quantity restrictions as the reason.
After making national headlines for week-long campouts and the buzz surrounding Nike's All-Star Collection, the "Galaxies" have the potential to be one of the more eventful releases we've ever seen. Your best bet now appears to be calling your local spot and seeing 1) if they'll be carrying the Foamposites and 2) what type of release procedure they're using. Some stores are issuing wristbands, some holding in-store lotteries and others using the standard first come-first serve method.
