Though Kevin Durant came up short in his bid to win an NBA Championship this season, he was successful three-peating as the league's scoring champion, which Nike celebrates with a special KD IV release.
First seen late last month, the "Scoring Title" IV is completely dressed in yellow and blue, with symbolic graphics repeated throughout the upper. New photos from one of our forum members reveals that the tonal graphics on the toebox and vamp are actually 3M reflective. Durant's league-leading scoring averages are displayed on the tongue, while the "KD" logo on the heel is filled with an eight-point compass rose. A blue midsole and translucent outsole finish off the look below.
The "Scoring Title" KD IV released this morning exclusively at House of Hoops in Oklahoma City as a treat for locals. A wider release is set for Saturday, July 21. NikeStore currently has the date listed on their release calendar, but they've backed off several online releases lately, so we'll update you here at Sole Collector if that changes.
