While speaking at a Washington DC basketball clinic in 1995, St. Anthony head coach Bobby Hurley met Larry Brady, a Reebok representative with a New Jersey background. Hurley extended an invitation for Brady to attend a St. Anthony practice and the two sides formed a partnership that continues today.
This season, St. Anthony will begin their quest for a fifth national title and 28th state title in a special make-up of the Reebok Q96, an all-new performance model inspired by Allen Iverson's first signature model. The Friars' PE is decked out in burgundy with gold accents and white on the laces and midsole to offset the look.
Additionally, Reebok is supplying the team with warm-ups and practice jerseys.
