He's one of the most unpredictable players in the league when it comes to sneakers, and earlier today, Rajon Rondo broke out a special PE colorway of the HyperPosite as the Celtics routed the Nets during the opening Christmas Day matchup.
With a grey upper, light green Posite upper and red accents throughout, Rondo's size 13 HyperPosites caught everyone's attention right from the jump. In a battle of two of the league's top point guards, Rondo was his usual all-around self, putting up 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in Boston's 17-point win.
While Nike Basketball plans to release the "Christmas" versions of Kobe, LeBron and KD's signature models, it's looking like this pair of HyperPosites will remain a Rondo player exclusive for now.
