It's been more than two years since Nate Robinson became the first NBA player to wear the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in a game. And while other players have teased doing the same, it hasn't happened since. At least until tonight, when the Los Angeles Clippers visited the Phoenix Suns.

And who other than reigning #SoleWatch champion P.J. Tucker would take advantage of a nationally televised game by lacing up one of the most unlikely pairs of game shoes? The Suns forward broke out the "Platinum" Yeezy 2 colorway to (somewhat) match the team's alternate grey uniforms.

We're not sure how they'll hold up for the full 48 minutes, and Tucker has been known to switch out his "heat" for something more performance-oriented in the second half, but he made his point. Also, as announced on Instagram, he plans on auctioning off some of his best game-worn shoes for Kicks 4 Kids in the coming weeks.
