Possessing a rare combination of hitting ability and defensive prowess, Troy Tulowitzi continues to stake his claim as the best shortstop in baseball, leading the Colorado Rockies offensive barrage year after year in the NL West. While Tulowitzki's big 2011 season included a .916 OPS and 105 RBIs (a career high), both tops among all Major League shortstops, the two-time All-Star, Silver Slugger and Golden Glove winner enters 2012 still seeking his first MVP award. 

Like fellow Long Beach State Dirtbags Evan Longoria and Vance Worley, Tulo is serious about his shoes. The Rockies star helped design his own pair of the Nike Air Huarache 2K4 Low MCS to start the season, using a Black / Pure Purple / Stealth colorway with a sparkling black patent upper and a "2LOW" graphic on the tongue.
