Panini Obtains Kyrie Irving's Game-Worn 'All-Star' Nike Zoom HyperRev

words // Brandon Richard

Just moments after Kyrie Irving led the Eastern Conference to victory in last Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, Panini Authentic's Brian Bayne was back on the hunt, retrieving the custom Nike Zoom HyperRev sneakers worn by the game's MVP.

Below is a look at Kyrie's game-worn 'Gumbo League' PE, which boasts a black and green glow upper with metallic silver branding and logo hits. A New Orleans-inspired print runs throughout the upper and inner lining, while Kyrie's personal emblem adorns the cross-strap.

“The NBA All-Star Game is one of my favorite times of the year because of the opportunity it presents to reconnect with some of our outstanding exclusive athletes,” Bayne said. “The ability to acquire these true history-making pieces of memorabilia directly from the players benefits Panini Authentic, no question; but it’s about more than that. We consider these players to be members of the Panini family — and NBA All-Star Week offers us a chance every year for a reunion of sorts.”

Soon, Kyrie's HyperRev will be signed, inscribed and listed on the Panini Authentic website along with other sneakers obtained during All-Star Weekend. Take a look at detailed photos below courtesy of The Knight's Lance.
