Packer Shoes and ASICS come together to celebrate the heritage of their respective companies.
The history of the New Jersey retailer dates all the way back to 1907 when it was still located in Yonkers, N.Y., supplying locals with the best hard-bottomed footwear. To commemorate its long-standing relationship with ASICS and the 25th anniversary of the Gel Lyte III, Packer digs deep into its history to transform the athletic runner into a sophisticated piece of formal footwear.
Appropriately nicknamed "Dirty Buck," the vintage runner is constructed of a premium suede upper with brown leather details on its split tongue, heel tab, and interior. Soft red accents finish off the midsole, while a pair of branded wooden shoe trees bridges the gap between sportswear and casual.
