With the 2012 Olympic Games around the corner, Onitsuka Tiger revisits a little bit of history by releasing the Runspark in OG SU and LE variations. Worn by Finnish distance runner Lasse Virén when he captured two Gold Medals in the '76 Montreal Games, the Runspark features a leather-based upper with suede overlays, EVA midsole and textured rubber outsole. Unisex colorways of the OG SU include Black/Paloma and Blue/Black while, the LE will be made available in Red/Off-White and Off-White/Navy.
Both the OG SU and LE Runsparks will hit Onitsuka Tiger retailers on Sunday, July 15 for $85.
