Yesterday marked the one month anniversary of the unexpected release of the "Red October" Nike Air Yeezy on Nike.com. Even a full month after its release, it's still the hottest shoe in the sneaker world, now fetching prices equal to the amount of a quality used car, or more than the amount of cash most of us take home in three months (or more).
We decided to analyze the past month's Yeezy-mania, and break down some of the facts and numbers.
1. Number of pairs currently on eBay - Approximately 250 (Give or take a few for fakes.)
2. Highest Buy it Now Price on eBay - $15,000!
3. Lowest Buy it Now Price for an Authentic Pair (as far as we can tell.) - $3,000
4. Average Buy it Now Price - Most pairs fall in the $4,000-5,000 price range.
5. Pairs Sold on eBay even BEFORE the Official Launch - 631 (via Campless)

8. Number of Kanye Apologies for Limited Red October Supply - 1 (https://solecollector.com/news/kanye-west-apologizes-for-limited-red-octobers-promises-plenty-of-adidas-shoe)
