Nike's Cortez has been in the limelight recently thanks to the Roshe Cortez, a new mash-up of sorts that combines the original Cortez model with a Roshe Run Natural Motion sole. This latest edition however is more of a throwback than an update.

NikeLab's Classic Cortez Big Tooth takes the original outsole from the 1972 edition of the shoe, and exaggerates the herringbone pattern. They've also outfitted this new sneaker with lux appointments like a leather sockliner, premium suede accents and a perforated Neoprene upper.

The Nike Classic Cortez Big Tooth will release on July 9 at NikeLab locations worldwide.
