Nike unveiled the Hypervenom football boot today, an innovative new model built for an "agile, deceptive and deadly attacking style of play."

Created with feeback from some of the game's top players, including Neymar, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Hypervenom features new NIKESKIN technology, along with a more anatomical last and a unique decoupled outsole.

“Neymar’s input was invaluable. He had been wearing the Mercurial Vapor IX boot, a pure speed product designed to help athletes look and find space to beat a man," said Phil McCartney, VP Nike Football, Footwear. "The Hypervenom focuses on creating the space in order to put the ball in the net. It’s a small but important nuance."

The Hypervenom will make its debut on the pitch on June 2, when Neymar and Wayne Rooney wear the new boot during an international friendly between Brazil and England.
