With pace being one of the hallmarks of Cristiano Ronaldo's game, the CR7 Nike Summer '13 apparel and footwear collection draws inspiration from his love of all things fast. The collection is highlighted by a new colorway of the CR Mercurial Vapor IX cleat, performance training items and a variety of polos and tees. Each piece is aesthetically inspired by velocity in sport.
The CR Mercurial Vapor IX clear has been reworked in a fusion of white, neon orange and a neon yellow and orange safari print. Horizontal black and neon yellow lines link the shoe to the collection's overarching inspiration of speed. Cristiano's "love to win, hate to lose" logo appears on the heel as a reminder to his opponents as he explodes past them for a goal. The same combination adorns the CR7 Mercurial Lite shin guards, CR7 Prestige Ball and Cheyenne backpack.
Lifestyle items include the Pique Polo, V-Neck t-shirt, a button-down Saturday jacket and a vintage-inspired make-up of the Nike Tennis Classic, Cristiano's favorite sneaker.
The CR7 collection will be released at Nikestore on Thursday, April 11.
