During Chase Crouch’s four-year-old checkup in November of 2010, everything seemed fine. But by Christmas that year, he began to have balance problems, followed by headaches. He was sent to Doernbecher to rule our anything serious, where a tumor was found – which he’s since been cleared of at his last brain scan.
During Chase’s treatments, one constant companion was Dino, who helped inspired not only the colorway of his Stefan Janoski Max, but even the shoe’s fuzzy texture. You’ll also find a “C7” logo, representing Chase’s age when he designed the shoe. The lining of the accompanying AW77 hoodie features a rendering of Chase’s last brain scan.
