Nike Sportswear's Blazer Floral City Collection
words // Luis Sanchez
Adding some meaning and reason to the use of floral print, Nike Sportswear's latest city pack takes inspiration from the official flowers of some of the biggest cities in the U.S. The great cities of Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City are each beautifully celebrated over one of Nike's original basketball models in the Blazer.
Named the city's official flower in 1966, Chrysanthemums are divinely displayed over the Blazer's upper to celebrate Chicago. The glorious weather that energizes the city of Los Angeles is embodied over the Blazer with a Birds of Paradise graphic, a vividly appealing plant that thrives on LA's year-round sunshine and helps beautify the Southern California coast. Growing through the cracks of the Concrete Jungle, dandelions cover the NYC-inspired Blazer to round out Nike Sportswear's Blazer City Collection.
The Nike Sportswear Blazer Floral Collection is set to release May 31st at select Nike Sportswear retailers.
