The iridescent treatment on Nike retros continues to get more and more sparing.
Earlier on in 2014 we saw sneakers like the Nike Air Trainer 1 and the Nike Blazer get the all-over shiny treatment, but recently things have been much more subdued. We're talking about the Nike Air Odyssey that had the touch just on the Swoosh, or the Nike Air Max 90 with its smaller Swoosh and bits in the tongue. The most restrained yet is the Nike Air Max 1 GS pictured, which has a blackout look across the upper save for that piece at the end of the lace placket.
