LeBron James' team allegiances are all over the place, but he sticks with the hometown Ohio State Buckeyes when it comes to college sports. So it was a no-brainer when Nike began officially outfitting the school's basketball team in 2011.
While not officially branded, this new Nike LeBron Soldier 9 would be a great on-court option when the Buckeyes return to the court next season. A red mesh upper is hugged by white side wraps, which are filled with large silver Swoosh logos. The tongue and cross-strap are also branded in silver.
Look for this colorway to release at Nike Basketball retailers in the coming weeks.
