Winter is just around the corner, which means many 'heads will soon be hanging up their sneakers in favor of something a little more suited for the elements. Don't be so quick to make the transition to full-on boots, though, as Nike has a new collection on the way that melds the best of both worlds.

Although Nike's Sneakerboots are nothingnew, this Holiday 2015 lineup is one of the most promising yet. Featured in the collection are rugged new looks for the Flyknit Trainer Chukka Sneakerboot, Air Max 95 Sneakerboot, Lunar Force 1 Duckboot, and Air Max 90 Sneakerboot.

Each silhouette takes on earthy olive and brown tones, with small hits of crimson red and reflectivity bringing a touch of pop to the weatherized kicks.

While many of these updated models have been seen before, this collection serves as the introduction for the Flyknit Trainer Chukka Sneakerboot, which uses a wool construction and a Defender Repellent Systems treatment to keep you cozy and dry through winter's worst.

The entire Nike Sneakerboot Holiday collection will arrive on November 5 on Nikestore online and select retailers. Meanwhile, Nike promises exclusive Sneakerboot styles in the upcoming Nike Tech Book, an interactive lookbook that will launch on Thursday, October 15.
