Here we get our first look at a new Nike SB Dunk Low Pro for Summer 2013 with this clean blue and yellow colorway.  Dubbed the "Captain", it is possibly inspired by the Sea Captain character from the Simpsons.  The royal and yellow, along with the green tongue label would indeed match the colors of the Sea Captain.  Stay tuned to Sole Collector for further information and release dates concerning this future Nike SB release.

I disagree ... first of all you are comparing a GR to QS releases, secondly you named just about every ugly ass qs released this year ...black and tan, shrimps, and nontourage? not only are these colorways garbage the materials are fckin horrible, have you seen the nontourage in person? Probably the cheapest made shoe by Nike to date...

this is a solid GR and if they put the simpsons insole and label it a QS this shoe would be beasted on...


you forgot to mention how horrible the supremes look in person. the "leather" is a high quality plastic


I own the Black & Tans & they're as straight as it gets and Not a QS. Solid quality for 2012. Same goes for the Premiers. Regardless of quality of materials or QS vs. GR, an ugly or sleepy lame CW is what it is. The Supreme's are mad about hype & everyone knows they're not '02 quality. Nontourages are prolly the same. Point is, even if they're low on the Q scale, they still beat the shit outta these "Captains" that None of us have held in person or had on foot, so its not as if you can perform a QC check on em in person anyway.

In general, when comparing shoes that are literally identical in style (SB Dunk Low) it makes absolutely no difference how they were released (HS vs QS vs GR). It's a comparison of what's better & worse. Aesthetics are about all that matters on a shoe as plain as an SB these days cuz its not like any of em are Comin out with quality found 10 years ago so that's a dead issue at this point.

Also throwin a simpsons character featured about once a season on an insole & limiting the amount of pairs wouldn't help me give a shit about these any more than I already don't. That may affect others. I'm not one of em. I buy what I like not whats hyped or limited. I like my Laser IVs but wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of Lightnings for instance. That's my take doesn't apply to everyone.
