On Saturday, September 28, OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Nike will come together at the Portland Art Museum for the official unveiling of the Doernbecher Freestyle X Collection. In the past ten years, the partnership between Doernbecher and Nike has raised more than $5 million through the sale of 52 limited edition shoes designed by patients.
Celebrating this milestone, Nike is re-releasing five classic Doernbecher styles in the weeks leading up to the unveiling of the 2013 Collection. All proceeds from the 10th Anniversary release will benefit Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
No word yet on which shoes will be re-released, but Nike will reveal the five styles this summer. Let us know which pairs you'd like to see return in the comment section.
