Perhaps the most lasting image from LeBron James' 2010 departure from Cleveland was the removal of his 'We Are All Witnesses' banner from a building across the street from Quicken Loans Arena. 'The Decision' devastated the city, the fall of the banner symbolic of the era truly being over.

However, King James has returned to #TheLand, and Nike may soon celebrate the occasion with an updated banner in the same location. According to Cleveland.com, images were officially submitted to the Cleveland City Planning Commission on Tuesday. A spokesman from the building that would host the proposed banner said the company wouldn’t comment until Thursday’s vote by a Cleveland design review committee and a Friday Planning Commission vote. The public bodies would need to make an exception for the size of the image, which scales 10 stories.

Earlier today, James was in Beaverton, Oregon to unveil the LeBron 12, his latest signature shoe with Nike.

UPDATE 10/30: The new LeBron banner was officially unveiled earlier today, just hours before James makes his home debut against the Knicks.
