Nike traditionally commemorates each Manny Pacquiao bout with an assortment of footwear and apparel inspired by the Filipino boxing champion, and his upcoming title fight against Timothy Bradley on June 9 is no different.
In addition to the Fight Night gear previewed yesterday, Nike will also roll out the Manny Pacquiao "Reflective" collection, highlighted by the limited edition Nike Free HyperKO Shield Trainer.
The Free HyperKO Shield Trainer combines the upper from the HyperKO MP Boot with a Nike Free sole unit, helping Pacquiao battle through the calf muscle issues that have bothered him throughout his boxing career. His "MP" logo appears on the lateral side, while a silhouette of the Philippines appears on the medial side. The tongue badge features the eight-ray sun from the Philippines national flag, along with Manny's Pambansang Kamao (The Nation's Fist) nickname.
The Free HyperKO Shield Trainer is limited to 100 pairs, which will release this Friday at the Nike 21 Mercer store in New York.
