Nike Lunar TR1 - Bo Bikes Bama

Last week, two-sport legend Bo Jackson embarked on a 5 day, 300 mile charity bike trek through the tornado ravaged communities of Alabama. The ride helped to raise over $413,000 for Alabama's Governor's Emergency Relief Fund.

Bo didn't make the journey alone, as he was joined by Lance Armstrong, Ken Griffey Jr., Scottie Pippen, Picabo Street and Al Joyner at different stops along the tour. 

For Bo Bikes Bama, Nike outfitted Jackson with special colorways of the upcoming Nike LunarTR1. The four trainers include a LIVESTRONG version, in addition to three others that pay homage to his college and professional sports careers (the Auburn Tigers and Oakland Raiders come to mind).

While Bo's ride is over, the recovery effort is not. Donations are still being accepted at BoBikesBama.com.
